👩🍳 Instructions
- 1 Heat the olive oil, then sauté the garlic until fragrant
- 2 Add the shrimp, if using, and cook until it changes color
- 3 Add the carrot and baby corn first since they're the firmest, and stir-fry for 2 minutes
- 4 Add the broccoli, mushrooms, and napa cabbage
- 5 Pour in the water, cover the pan, and cook for 2 minutes
- 6 Remove the lid and add the bell pepper
- 7 Season with the oyster sauce, fish sauce, sesame oil, salt, and pepper
- 8 Pour in the cornstarch slurry and stir quickly until the sauce thickens
- 9 Serve immediately while the vegetables are still crisp and vibrant in color
💡 Tips
• Add the vegetables in stages according to how firm they are
• Don't overcook — vegetables that stay crisp taste better and keep their nutrients
• The cornstarch slurry makes the sauce glossy and helps it cling to the vegetables
