👩🍳 Instructions
- 1 Mix together the all-purpose flour, rice flour, cornstarch, baking powder, salt, and sugar
- 2 Pour in the ice water little by little while stirring — the batter shouldn't be too thick or too runny
- 3 Add 1 tbsp of cooking oil to the batter and stir until well combined
- 4 Let the batter rest in the fridge for 10 minutes to make it crispier
- 5 Peel the bananas and slice them lengthwise into 2 pieces
- 6 Heat the oil over medium heat
- 7 Dip the bananas into the batter until evenly coated
- 8 Fry until golden brown and crispy
- 9 Remove from the oil and drain
- 10 Arrange on a plate, drizzle with honey, and sprinkle with shredded cheese
💡 Tips
• Use ice water to make the batter crispier
• Fully ripe pisang raja bananas taste best — naturally sweet
• Eat right away while hot for the best crispy texture
