  • 200g fresh egg noodles
  • 200g boneless chicken thigh
  • 3 tbsp sweet soy sauce (kecap manis)
  • 2 tbsp oyster sauce
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 4 clove garlic, minced
  • 2 stalk scallions, sliced
  • 500ml chicken broth
  • Fried wontons, to taste
  • Bok choy, to taste

👩‍🍳 Instructions

  1. 1 Boil the egg noodles until cooked through, drain, then toss with a little sesame oil
  2. 2 Sauté the garlic until fragrant, then add the chicken that's been cut into small cubes
  3. 3 Cook the chicken until it changes color, then add the sweet soy sauce and oyster sauce
  4. 4 Stir well and cook until the chicken is done and the seasoning is well absorbed, about 5 minutes
  5. 5 Briefly blanch the bok choy, then drain
  6. 6 Heat the chicken broth and season with salt and pepper
  7. 7 Arrange the noodles in a bowl, then top with the chicken, bok choy, and scallions
  8. 8 Pour the hot broth over the top and serve with fried wontons

💡 Tips

• Don't boil the noodles too long, or they'll turn mushy

• Add chili sauce and vinegar to taste for an even tastier bowl
