  • 300 grams beef tenderloin, thinly sliced
  • 250 grams broccoli, cut into florets
  • 50 grams shredded cheddar cheese
  • 3 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 3 clove garlic, finely minced
  • 1/2 onion, sliced
  • 100 ml heavy cream
  • 1 tsp unsweetened beef bouillon powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper, ground
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 50 ml water

👩‍🍳 Instructions

  1. 1 Blanch the broccoli in boiling water for 1-2 minutes, then drain and rinse with cold water to keep its color bright green and its texture crisp.
  2. 2 Heat the olive oil and 1 tbsp of butter in a pan over medium-high heat. Add the sliced beef and cook, stirring, until it changes color and turns slightly browned, about 3-4 minutes. Remove and set aside.
  3. 3 In the same pan, add the remaining butter and sauté the garlic and onion until fragrant and softened.
  4. 4 Return the beef to the pan, then add the bouillon powder, salt, and black pepper. Stir until well combined.
  5. 5 Pour in the heavy cream and water, then cook over low heat, stirring, until slightly thickened, about 2-3 minutes.
  6. 6 Add the blanched broccoli and stir well into the creamy sauce until fully coated.
  7. 7 Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese over the top and stir briefly until the cheese melts and blends into the sauce. Turn off the heat.
  8. 8 Serve warm as a main keto dish, without rice or any added carbs.

💡 Tips

• Choose a slightly fatty cut of beef, such as tenderloin or sirloin, for a richer flavor that fits your keto fat requirements.

• Don't overcook the broccoli — you want it to stay crisp and retain its nutrients; a quick blanch is enough.

• You can substitute heavy cream with unsweetened thick coconut milk for a different, equally rich and creamy flavor.

• For meal prep portions, store in the fridge for up to 2 days and reheat over low heat so the cream sauce doesn't separate.
