👩🍳 Instructions
- 1 Sprinkle the powdered gelatin over the cold water and let it sit for 5 minutes until it blooms (swells up)
- 2 Heat the cream, milk, and sugar in a saucepan over low heat, stirring until the sugar dissolves — do not let it boil
- 3 Turn off the heat, add the bloomed gelatin, and stir until completely dissolved
- 4 Add the vanilla extract and stir well
- 5 Pour into molds or serving glasses and let cool to room temperature
- 6 Refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight until set
- 7 For the sauce: cook the strawberries, sugar, and lemon juice over low heat for 10 minutes until thickened
- 8 Serve the panna cotta topped with the strawberry sauce
💡 Tips
• Don't let the cream boil, or it may break the texture
• The gelatin must be fully dissolved for the panna cotta to set perfectly
• You can swap the strawberry sauce for mango, raspberry, or caramel sauce instead
• Grease the molds lightly with a bit of oil so they release easily
