  • 2 medium-sized green or yellow pears
  • 2 stalks celery stalks
  • 1/2 , juiced lemon
  • 200 ml cold boiled water
  • 1-2 tbsp (optional, to taste) pure honey
  • to taste ice cubes
  • 3-4 leaves (optional, for garnish) fresh mint leaves

👩‍🍳 Instructions

  1. 1 Wash the pears and celery thoroughly under running water to remove any dirt and pesticide residue.
  2. 2 Cut the pears into several pieces and remove the seeds if needed (there's no need to peel the pears, since the skin contains a lot of fiber and nutrients).
  3. 3 Cut the celery stalks into small pieces so they're easier to blend.
  4. 4 Put the pear and celery pieces into a blender.
  5. 5 Add the cold boiled water and lemon juice.
  6. 6 Blend all the ingredients until smooth and well combined, about 30-45 seconds.
  7. 7 Taste the juice, add honey if you'd like it sweeter, then blend briefly again until mixed in.
  8. 8 Strain the juice through a fine strainer if you want a smoother texture, or serve it as is if you like a bit of fiber.
  9. 9 Pour into a serving glass and add ice cubes to taste.
  10. 10 Garnish with fresh mint leaves on top and serve immediately while cold and fresh.

💡 Tips

• Choose fully ripe pears so the juice tastes naturally sweeter without needing much added honey.

• Don't peel the pears, since the skin is high in fiber that's good for digestion — just wash them thoroughly before using.

• This juice tastes best when drunk right after it's made, so the nutrients and freshness stay at their best.

• If you don't like a strong celery flavor, use only the young stalks and reduce the amount to just 1 stalk.
